Actually I tried…..you can’t “fix” a broken cookie! I thought duck (duct) or as we call it “thousand mile an hour” tape would fix anything!!!! It doesn’t work on a broken cookie. Babas (grandmas) will try anything to save a breaking heart…actually all he wanted to do was lick off the icing so surely the tape would hold the back of the cookie together…nope the sugar stuck to the tape but the tape could not hold three pieces of cookie together….and so instead of a mended cookie I had to administer comfort in hugs and kisses and lots of love. I think it must be like that with the Savior……sometimes the broken pieces are not meant to be “fixed” and so He holds us in his arms and comforts us with hugs and love.
